La soledad, el silencio y la sensaci\u00f3n de conexi\u00f3n con algo mucho m\u00e1s grande que yo me ha atra\u00eddo desde entonces. Despu\u00e9s de la universidad, pas\u00e9 una d\u00e9cada viviendo en la Pen\u00ednsula Balc\u00e1nica de Europa con mi esposa Joanna. A\u00f1os de mucho estr\u00e9s durante este per\u00edodo llevaron a un agotamiento severo. En busca de la restauraci\u00f3n aprovech\u00e9 la oportunidad de mudarme a las monta\u00f1as de Colorado en el borde del Parque Nacional de las Monta\u00f1as Rocosas. All\u00ed, por senderos tranquilos, rodeada de belleza y soledad, mi alma comenz\u00f3 a recuperarse. Decid\u00ed hacer una carrera en el senderismo y as\u00ed me convert\u00ed en fot\u00f3grafo profesional de la naturaleza. Mientras caminaba por los numerosos senderos del parque nacional tanto de d\u00eda como de noche en busca de im\u00e1genes \u00fanicas, volv\u00ed a la vida y me encontr\u00e9 rebosante de cosas sobre las que quer\u00eda escribir. Esto me llev\u00f3 a convertirme en escritor y tambi\u00e9n en editor.
