Cuando la coordinaci\u00f3n de voluntarios y proyectos se convirti\u00f3 en una tarea que requer\u00eda m\u00e1s de tiempo completo, algunos de nosotros contratamos a un gerente por nuestro cuenta. Aun as\u00ed, los voluntarios estaban agotados, ya que hab\u00eda m\u00e1s trabajo del que un voluntario a tiempo parcial pod\u00eda abarcar. La organizaci\u00f3n lleg\u00f3 a un punto en el que se necesitar\u00edan varios empleados a tiempo completo simplemente para mantener todas las actividades de esta organizaci\u00f3n global.<\/p><p>Se hicieron esfuerzos sinceros para conseguir financiaci\u00f3n de empresas, miembros de Nature First y otras fuentes, pero no se logr\u00f3 recaudar ni siquiera una fracci\u00f3n de los fondos necesarios para apoyar todas nuestras actividades. Si bien solemos pensar que son las grandes organizaciones con enormes presupuestos y folletos llamativos las que cambian nuestro mundo, la realidad es que el cambio real suele ocurrir en los momentos cotidianos de nuestra vida, a trav\u00e9s de las relaciones personales y las conversaciones. No lograremos los ideales de Nature First publicando una entrada llamativa o creando camisetas de Nature First, sino hablando con nuestros amigos y conocidos sobre c\u00f3mo hemos elegido cuidar la naturaleza al fotografiarla. Sucede cuando compartimos nuestras inquietudes sobre nuestro impacto y cuando usamos nuestras fotos y videos para educar a la gente sobre el mundo natural. Mediante estas peque\u00f1as acciones diarias, crearemos con el tiempo una cultura m\u00e1s amplia donde los fot\u00f3grafos de naturaleza sean reconocidos como protectores y embajadores de la naturaleza.<\/p><p>El prop\u00f3sito de Nature First nunca ha sido construir una organizaci\u00f3n; ha sido animar a cada individuo a que se apropie de la visi\u00f3n y la ponga en pr\u00e1ctica en su propia vida.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9db8675 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9db8675\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>\u00bfQue sigue?<\/h3><p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 puede esperar ahora de la organizaci\u00f3n?<\/p><p>Seguimos manteniendo un sitio web atractivo y funcional que expresa claramente nuestra visi\u00f3n com\u00fan. Est\u00e1 repleto de excelentes art\u00edculos y recursos para guiarte en tu labor de protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente. En la secci\u00f3n de miembros, encontrar\u00e1s un directorio de miembros de Nature First de todo el mundo que comparten nuestros valores. Te animo a usarlo para encontrar y conectar con otras personas en tu zona o en lugares que visites. Despu\u00e9s de la universidad, viv\u00ed cerca de una d\u00e9cada en la pen\u00ednsula balc\u00e1nica de Europa con mi esposa Joanna. A\u00f1os de mucho estr\u00e9s durante este per\u00edodo me llevaron a un agotamiento severo. En busca de recuperaci\u00f3n, aprovech\u00e9 la oportunidad de mudarme a las monta\u00f1as de Colorado, al borde del Parque Nacional de las Monta\u00f1as Rocosas. All\u00ed, en senderos tranquilos, rodeado de belleza y soledad, mi alma comenz\u00f3 a sanar. Decid\u00ed dedicarme al senderismo y as\u00ed me convert\u00ed en fot\u00f3grafo profesional de naturaleza. Mientras recorr\u00eda los numerosos senderos del parque nacional, tanto de d\u00eda como de noche, en busca de im\u00e1genes \u00fanicas, recuper\u00e9 la vitalidad y me sent\u00ed desbordado por las ideas que quer\u00eda plasmar por escrito. Esto me llev\u00f3 a convertirme en escritor y tambi\u00e9n en editor.
