Ha lavorato per pi\u00f9 di undici anni presso il Museo di Scienze Naturali e due anni presso l&#039;Istituto Botanico Darwinion di Buenos Aires. Cosa lo ha spinto?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">Penso che l&#039;interesse per la fauna selvatica sia innato in me. Da quando ho memoria, mi sentivo attratto dalla natura ed ero preoccupato per l&#039;impatto che noi esseri umani produciamo sull&#039;ambiente. Fin da bambino ho letto diversi libri sulla conservazione dell&#039;ambiente. Ho deciso di studiare prima Ecologia e poi intraprendere la carriera di naturalista. Essere un naturalista mi ha portato a essere coinvolto in diversi progetti di conservazione, in quanto mi ha anche permesso di lavorare per pi\u00f9 di 11 anni nel Museo di Scienze Naturali di Buenos Aires, coinvolgendomi in progetti di educazione ambientale e progettazione di sentieri interpretativi. La mia passione era cos\u00ec forte che non ho mai avuto dubbi su quale sarebbe stato il mio percorso personale e professionale.<\/p><p class=\"\"><strong>Da quanto tempo sei un fotografo? Cosa ti ha interessato alla fotografia?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">Ho scoperto la fotografia mentre studiavo per la mia seconda carriera come naturalista sul campo nel 2007. In primo luogo, era uno strumento per registrare gli animali o le piante che stavo studiando sul campo. Ma quando ho iniziato a scattare, mi sono innamorato della fotografia e ho iniziato a imparare sempre di pi\u00f9 come autodidatta. In quel momento stavo studiando le rane, quindi quel fatto mi ha portato a iniziare con la macrofotografia di notte, e mi sono reso conto che la macrofotografia ci permette di entrare in un mondo completamente nuovo che i nostri occhi nudi non vedono. Mi sono innamorato della fotografia ancora pi\u00f9 profondamente.<\/p><p class=\"\"><strong>Cosa ti ha portato a diventare attivo in Nature First?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">Uno degli scopi del mio lavoro era la Conservazione e la sensibilizzazione sul mondo naturale, e in particolare sul mondo dei piccoli. L&#039;universo degli artropodi e degli animaletti sempre sottovalutati. Per me il rispetto per la natura \u00e8 una cosa naturale, ma purtroppo mi sono reso conto che non tutti i fotografi la pensano allo stesso modo. Hai un esempio di questo? Come collegheresti questo ai principi Nature First?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">Purtroppo, nel mondo della macrofotografia, \u00e8 abbastanza comune vedere una mancanza di rispetto per i soggetti. Sembra che le dimensioni del soggetto e la facilit\u00e0 nel manipolarlo determinino il modo in cui ci comportiamo. Ho persino trovato tutorial su Internet su come uccidere un insetto per fare macrofotografia o macrofotografia estrema. S\u00ec, pazzesco, ma alcune persone uccidono persino gli animali per creare un&#039;immagine di grande impatto. Non cos\u00ec estremo, ma altri mettono insetti, ragni, rane, lucertole e serpenti nel congelatore per abbassare il metabolismo e in questo modo poterli fotografare facilmente perch\u00e9 non possono muoversi.<\/p><p class=\"\"><strong>Se avessi una bacchetta magica che ti teletrasportasse ovunque, dove faresti foto ora? Perch\u00e9 l\u00e0?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\">Ho gi\u00e0 fatto in modo che la mia bacchetta magica funzionasse in modo reale. Mi sono trasferito dall&#039;Argentina al Costa Rica. Ma se devo scegliere un altro posto nel mondo, ho scelto il Borneo e l&#039;Indonesia. Molti di essi sono collocati in un substrato artificiale, realizzato in sessioni sceniche (Set up). Ecco un esempio di un buon risultato senza la necessit\u00e0 di manipolare gli animali, tenerli in cattivit\u00e0 o far loro del male.
