That Nature First chose to launch on Earth Day 2019 should surprise no one. The commitment to photograph our natural world whilst putting the importance of nature foremost in our priorities is an extension of the commitment to be a steward to our earth and to sustainability.
Am 22. April ist der Tag, an dem wir die Erde ehren und uns aktiv zu ihrem Schutz bekennen. Überall auf der Welt kommen die Menschen zusammen, um auf die Belange der Umwelt aufmerksam zu machen. Vor drei Jahren, am Tag der Erde 2019 wurde Nature First als internationale Initiative für verantwortungsbewusste Naturfotografie gegründet. Heute hat Nature First Mitglieder überall auf der Welt.

Three years ago, on Earth Day 2019 Nature First was launched as an international initiative for responsible nature photography and it has spread all over the world since then.
I’m a nature photographer. Whenever I take my camera out I do it with open eyes, an open mind, and an open heart. I connect, I engage, I interact, and receive so much back. Nature photographers come in many different shapes and sizes. We use photography in a documentary way to preserve what we have seen as accurately as possible.
